What a combination!
The day starts with a nice jeep ride up to the highlands, with amazing views of Vatnajökull glacier and the second largest lava flow in history of Iceland. After few stops on the way, we will finally enter the biggest cave system in Europe, made by the eruption in Laki craters 1783-84. There we will throw on a helmet and a headlight before we go searching for those caves.
After a refreshing cave mission and a nice picnic lunch we will prepare ourselves for the fat bike ride, down the enormous lava flow of Laki, covered with thick and spongy moss!
