Impressive coastlines, thunderous waterfalls, towering ice caps, glistening glaciers! The dramatic Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, must-see waterfalls. Dyrholaey headland, with coastal cliff features, contrasts beautifully with the black pebble beach at Reynisfjara.
In the shadow of Eyjafjallajökull, the Visitor Centre at Thorvaldseyri offers an excellent film/displays about the 2010 eruption and its local impact.
An Ice Walk/Climb on Sólheimajökull or snowmobiling on Mýrdalsjökull can be added if this tour is done as private.
