The activities we choose are dependent on the group and the weather. But we can bring along with us super jeeps, snowmobiles, skis, kites, fishing equipment… and of course the spirit of adventure and good vibes!

The Mountain Hut

You will stay in an authentic Icelandic mountain hut. We will stay warm by using fire and wood that gives that special ‘up-in- the-mountains’ feeling. During winter we collect water from the nearest river for our use. This is the real deal. You and the guides will have the hut all to yourselves since this is a private tour.

FOR WHOM?	Fits individuals, group of friends, couples and families with kids (older than 8). Can be adjusted to company groups that would like to add some work in to it. Few places as inspiring for new ideas as the ones visited on this tour.

If you would like to extend your stay for few more days we would love to assist you on that. You can either prolong your stay in Reykjavík, add private or open tours to the south or the west (the Snæfelllsnes peninsula, Norðurárdalur valley), visit the Blue Lagoon, or fly over to the north and visit the capital of the North, Akureyri or more. Please ask for ideas and quote for your prolonged stay based on your preferences.

DAY 1 - Reykjavik – Golden Circle – Midgard

Your personal driver will pick you up and take you to the countryside. We will be driving through the National Park, Þingvellir, to the highlights of the famous Golden Circle route, Gullfoss and Geysir. After a look around the Geysir area we enjoy a warm lunch. Now it’s time to set your mind free and get ready for the central Icelandic highlands. We drive towards a traditional mountain hut that will be warmed-up with a fireplace that brings you that special ‘up-in- the-mountains’ feeling. When we arrive at the hut we settle down, take out the snowmobiles, settle in and start preparing the dinner. The evening is used for relaxation, telling stories, playing cards and enjoying the remoteness.

DAY 2 - Midgard Adventure Day

We settle down for breakfast and get ready for a big day of super jeep driving and snowmobiling. Our Midgard staff will ensure you are fully prepared for the outdoors. We start the day with an energy-giving breakfast and then make our journey to untouched central Iceland. The terrain is covered with snow and your staff will use all their skills to get you around these tough conditions. You will be a part of all the action – pulling-up the cars, digging them out when they get stuck, and gaining knowledge of pure Icelandic mountaineering. We arrive at our Midgard hut in the afternoon where you’ll have freetime to use the snowmobiles, hang out in the hut, or even do some fishing. For dinner we cook Icelandic lamb in a special highland way. We dig the lamb in the snow where it cooks for two hours. Come the evening, we enjoy life without worrying about time with storytelling, games, and guitar playing. If it´s a clear night nature may just amaze us with the Northern Lights and shooting stars.

DAY 3 - Midgard Adventure Day – Reykjavik

After a good night´s sleep we enjoy a delicious breakfast. The morning is spent playing outside, the choice of activity depends on your wishes and the weather. Around noon we start to get ready to leave this beautiful and peaceful place. The afternoon is spent driving towards Reykjavík, stopping at interesting sites. You will arrive to Reykjavík right in time for dinner.
